Antoine Mena-González is a contemporary Cuban painter whose richly textured works push the boundaries of contemporary painting through an experimental visual language rooted in materiality, abstraction, and the human experience. Working between figuration and abstraction, Mena rejects fixed narratives and stylistic conventions. Driven by an instinctive and deeply physical approach to painting, Mena explores the tensions between beauty and decay, order and chaos, desire and discomfort.
